Automatic systems for extrusion-dies
Retrofit-able automatic system for your extrusion-dies. This is the most economical way to switch to thickness control in film and sheet extrusion. Many manufacturers of extrusion-dies use these systems in order to offer automatic extrusion-dies.
Actuators: steel bolts with heating cartridges, operating range 300 µm + manual adjustment.
Partition of actuators: 30, 28 or 25,4 mm (1”)

System for automatic extrusion-die adjustment in order to get a even thickness profile + electronically gap changing.

Operating range 2 mm (gap adjustment = wedge range: all bolts together).

Automatic film and sheet extrusion-dies with thermal bolts "Thermal Bolts" utilizes thermal expansion of steel bolts. Bolts are heated with heating cartridges and chilled with air (external ventilation).

2. System FRAD (Full Range Automatic Die)
Automatic die adjustment with gap adjustment:
"Thermal Bolts" + mechanically, electromotive driven and controlled sliding wedge adjustment
FRAD is a combination of two adjustment systems:
- Mechanic adjustment of all thermal bolts with a sliding wedge system
- "Thermal Bolts" utilizing thermal expansion of steel bolts
Bolts are heated with heating cartridges and chilled with air (external ventilation).
