MCAD motor-controlled automatic system
The next generation of automatic systems: a motor-driven die lip positioning system – each bolt is moved by its own motor (the driving force is multiplied via a lever).
The lever multiplies the motor’s force and can move the lip by up to 2.3 mm (provided this is permitted), all in less than a minute. Manual adjustment is always possible using a standard Allen key on the motor spindle. As this system can adjust several (or even all) bolts simultaneously, it is very fast and does not normally require manual intervention (although this is possible at any time and is registered by the system, so the control system is not disrupted).
- Multiple bolts – including all of them simultaneously – can be moved at the same time. With MCAD, the entire lip gap can also be adjusted.
- Very fast system – 0.1 mm bolt travel in less than 2 seconds.
- Step accuracy of 0.3 μm
- Bolt pitch from 25 mm
- Working profiles can be stored
