Automatic systems for extrusion-dies

These systems, developed and manufactured by SBI Mechatronik in Austria, are used at GMA.

• Standard System:
  Thermal bolts actuators: steel bolts with heating cartridges, operating range 300 µm + manual adjustment.
  Partition of actuators: 30, 28 or 25,4 mm (1”). 
  Perfect system for automatic extrusion-die adjustment
  
  
  
• Next generation of automatic dies: MCAD motorcontrolled automtic system
  Each bolt is controlled by its own motor;
  The force of this motor is amplified via a lever;
  manual adjustment of the bolts is possible – this is detected by an encoder, so the control system is not disrupted
